After researching an Equipment on the Research Lab you can create items in the Armory, which you can attach to your units to upgrade their stats and abilities.

Attaching or removing (AKA unattaching) equipment to/from a unit doesn't cost any credits, resources nor time. After removing an equipment you can attach it to any unit without any penalties.

Each unit can only use one piece of equipment and can only use equipment to enhance an existing ability. For example "AP Rounds" can only be equipped with units that already have Pierce ability, it cannot be used to give a unit Pierce ability.

Equipment, much like units, comes in different rarities. Higher rarity equipment is stronger, and requires higher level components to fuse.

Note: There is currently no rank restriction on using equipment, so you are able to equip 1* units with 5* equipment, and so on.
